Papadom

Due to my "pantang", baru semalam lah aku berpeluang pergi tengok citer Papadom ni...

No doubt kenapa this film layak terima Best Film 2009 in FFM.. it managed to makes you smile, laugh and cry at the same time.. sounds silly rite?? Aku rasa 70% dr citer ni aku nangis.. when i read the review earlier, aku takde la ingat citer ni sesedih tu..ye lar..citer Afdlin..sure lawak pecah perut punya..but on top of the usual lawak, there's something different in this movie.. mungkin being a mother my self menyebabkan semua yg diceritakan tu makan dalam..

aku rasa there's a PapaDom in every parent in the world.. semua ibu bapa wants to be in every steps of their kids' life.. kekadang aku terfikir, kalu aku kat tempat Saadom tu, aku pun mungkin jadi camtu.. how sometime kita "bohong sunat" kat anak2 kita just because we loves them so much.. :)

cuba bayangkan, bile korang balik dari keje, maid korang yg cakap "Ibu, tadi baby dah boleh berjalan selangkah".. Tak ke sedih tu.. you missed one moment in your baby's life..their 1st step...

kekadang aku terfikir, bestnya kalu aku boleh duduk umah ngan anak2..how i wish...aku boleh be there with them 24-7.. kalu la hubby is making a 5 figure pay, sure aku dah opt duduk umah.. pernah gak aku terfikir nak bukak nursery, so that aku bleh jaga anak2 aku sendiri disamping jaga anak orang, tapi it's too risky to leave my comfort zone to start my own business.. byk commitment nak kena fikir..

back to Papadom, byk scene yg mampu buat aku mengalirkan air mata..sometimes tu, boleh menangis & gelak at the same time...masa tu la i told myself, no wonder this movie get the best film award..Afdlin deserves it.. determination Saadom to protect his dotter, his unconditional love.. i thot that there'll be a love sparks between Prof Balqis & Saadom, guess i'm wrong about that.. how a dad goes the extra miles to ensure his dotter is safe from the boy who will pound on her at every chance he has..

this movie makes me think..mampukah aku didik and jaga my kids agar mereka sentiasa menuruti semua suruhan Allah dan meninggalkan laranganNya.. can i keep them safe from this nasty world... org cakap nak jaga lembu sekandang lagi senang dari nak jaga anak dara sorang.. tapi aku rasa bukan setakat anak dara, anak teruna pun nak kena jaga gak..silap2 nanti dia punahkan anak org, sapa yg susah??sapa yg malu??kita la jugak kan???

ntah la..banyak benar cabaran hidup skang ni..not only as parent, tapi sebagai manusia.. life is not as easy as before..

Akhirnya!!!

Dah lama aku pendam niat nak p tengok movie ni..movie ni masuk panggung 4th December tapi masa tu aku dah sibuk balik kampung (KB la....) nak celebrate Aidil Adha...so kena la tunggu balik KL dulu..last weekend aku telah membuat movie marathon..ala2 membantu industri filem tempatan...aku p tengok LOS DAN FAUN dan ANTOO FIGHTER...

Basically just as expected...aku gelak bagai nak rak masa tgk Los & Faun..as claimed , this is Afdlin's most sewel movie for 2008..Double thumbs up to Afdlin and all the crews..
Lawak dlm movie ni mmg bersahaja..simple lawak but manage to make you laugh like hell..not slapstics..but something simple..humurous and tak overdo... As previous movies..(Buli, Buli Balik, Baik Punya Cilok and Sumolah..) yg aku tak miss tengok..afdlin still maintain the actors from his circle...cuma ada la a few new faces like khairiah dan Saufi..this circle just click..macam bom meletup.. Watching the late Ibu Yusni..sedey.. I'm not sure tapi aku rasa tu bukan suara asal ibu la...
the lawaks in this movie is so so so so so so funny...pecah panggung la.. i guess Faun has a very strong social context for him to be able to the detect all the particulars in relation to the lost items...

since aku buat movie marathon...aku tengok la antoo fighter plak lepas tu..i tak sure sbb experience aku tengok los and faun tu best giler atau mmg expectation aku for antoo fighter tu tinggi sangat..tapi bila aku compare this 2 movie...satu rated 4.5 yang satu lagi below par la...about 2.5 jer...

as for antoo fighter...the sound is poor...mixing bunyi tu sampai menenggelamkan dialog...yg mana kadangkala aku rasa tenggelam timbul...ada scene yg aku rasa kalu dikupas dgn lebih detail akan lebih berkesan...I was called to watched this movie due to the promo yg gempak..tapi sayang la...tak meet my expectation... Basically main actors like Radhi, Harun Salim Bachik, Usop and Awie did a good job...aku rasa kalu tanpa depa ni tak over kalu aku cakap this movie akan total collapse..the story line is good cuma kupasannya tak berkesan...

well....adakah aku bias??atau sbb expectation aku yg terlebih tinggi...ntahla...aku pon bukannye pengkritik yg pro pun...cuma i know the value of my money...hehehehehe
